Rossmann’s Online Shop in Germany Launches ModiFace Virtual Try-On

In September 2020, Rossmann, one of Germany’s leading retail stores launched their own virtual makeover application, available to all of their customers. Through the product pages on their website, customers can instantly try on products such as lipsticks or eyeshadows on their own live image or on a pre-set model.

This new feature, powered by ModiFace’s virtual makeover technology, helps to close the gap on the consumer journey when searching for the right makeup products. This can be done at any time and from anywhere, including from the comfort of home. "More and more customers are looking for information about products online before buying," says Petra Czora, Marketing Director at Rossmann.
