ModiFace EVP to Speak at Google's Applied ML Summit

Soheil Seyfaie is EVP of Software Engineering at ModiFace, a Toronto based tech company that was acquired by L’Oréal in 2018. ModiFace is focused on applying augmented reality and machine learning to the beauty industry, and makes it easy for customers to try makeup directly on the web or in mobile apps. Seyfaie recently spoke at the Stay Relevant, Get Promoted panel for the Google Applied ML Summit.

Machine learning and MLOps are rapidly changing, and the summit provides a good avenue to meet other speakers, learn about the latest trends, and share experiences in the space. To be successful, Seyfaie believes that ML Engineers and AI Scientists need to continuously upgrade their skills. During his session he shares his experiences attracting new talent at ModiFace, promoting continuous learning culture within the company, and developing talent internally.
